I wore this to a fall market and got stopped twice about the pleats — they hold their shape without making the dress feel stiff. The maxi length hits right at the ankle on me at 5'6", and the flannel is thick enough that I skipped a jacket.

The organic cotton flannel is surprisingly soft for something this structured, and the maxi length keeps it from feeling frumpy. I've worn it to work with boots and then out to dinner without changing a thing.

The vertical pleats give this flannel dress such a nice shape without feeling stiff, and the organic cotton is soft right out of the box. I've worn it to dinner and to the farmers market and it works for both.
