Tones and evenness of mineral dyes may vary, as natural dyes are affected by the conditions of the soil and the dyeing process, such as the pH and water hardness. Because of the structure of fibers, natural dyes don’t always adhere evenly. This is mostly affected by the tightness of the weave and the scouring. With natural dyes, we have to accept that they will change over time as all natural things do. Colors might fade, and unevenness may occur. This is all a part of their natural charm.
