The drawstring waist actually stays tied instead of slipping loose like my old pair, and the side pockets are deep enough to hold my phone without it flopping out. Wore them all day in humid weather and they never clung to my legs.

The organic cotton poplin is lighter than I expected but still holds its shape after a few washes. The drawstring waistband sits flat under a tee, no bunching. Wore them three days straight in 30°C heat and they stayed breathable.

The organic cotton poplin feels crisp and breathable in the heat, definitely nicer than the synthetic shorts I used to wear. Only gripe is the side pockets are a bit shallow, my phone slides around when I sit. Still, the fit is clean and they've held up fine after a few washes.
